PlayStation All-Stars Dream Roster: Mega Man

Ever since PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale was rumored, IGN's been pitching characters that need to be in the game. Well, after the leak, it appears developer SuperBot Entertainment isn't listening. So, IGN's Podcast Beyond is teaming with IGN reader Pandamusk to create videos for the fighters we think need to be in the game.

This week, we're pitching Mega Man.

Who do you think should be in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale? Let us know in the comments below. Plus, check out our past installments...

PlayStation All-Stars Blowout on IGN

True story: IGN has been in the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale beta for quite some time. We've been fighting, learning Level 3 super-moves, and getting our asses handed to us by really skilled fighters. However, we haven't been able to tell you about the beta due to its non-disclosure agreement.

Wednesday, the gloves come off. Yes, tomorrow, we'll be able to show you moves, intros and everything else. We'll be able to actually write about how the characters feel and what developer SuperBot Entertainment is getting right and what it's getting wrong.

You just have to wait until Wednesday, August 8th at 9 a.m. Pacific (noon Eastern). Until then, enjoy the IGN PlayStation All-Stars Wiki and this pitch for why Heavy Rain's Ethan Mars should be in the game.

PlayStation All-Stars Beta Goes Public This Fall

The PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale beta is already raging for a select few, but Sony has revealed that the beta will reach a wider audience in the weeks leading up to its release in late October.

SuperBot Entertainment President Chan Park wrote that “while [the beta accommodates] just a small group now, in the coming weeks we will continue to send out batches of codes as we gradually expand the beta; so keep your eyes open. You just might receive an invitation to join! Keep checking back with the blog for more information around the public beta, starting with early access to PlayStation Plus members.”

So it looks like everyone will eventually gain access to the beta. But PlayStation Plus members will get priority once the closed beta ends.
