Actor-comedian John Leguizamo has reportedly joined the cast of Kick-Ass 2.
Deadline claims Leguizamo will "play Javier, the bodyguard assigned to protect aspiring evil guy Red Mist, the role to be reprised by Christopher Mintz-Plasse."
The site adds that other original cast members Aaron Johnson, Chloe Grace Moretz and Nicolas Cage will also be back for the sequel, which will be directed and scripted by Jeff Wadlow.
Leguizamo is no stranger to comic book adaptations having played Clown in the live-action Spawn movie.
